Its been a while.....

Its been a long while since the last post.  I will update this thing sometime this week.  I promise.  I now have to try and get back to sleep while I can.  goodnight.

Time is flying by!

Kaylee will be 3 months next weekend!  She is getting soo big.  She went to church for the first time last weekend, and did very well!   The nursery workers said that she was all smiles the whole time and kept them entertained!    She does keep mommy and daddy entertained as well.  For instance tonight....  She hadnt had a poopy diaper all day and all at once heard a big loud juicy fart.  Daddy's turn to change her!  HAHA...  His face was priceless when he opened the diaper, in which I was laughing.  Then Kaylee decided that she was going to laugh for the first time just as daddy was wiping her poopy butt!....  Perfect timing!!!   Made mommy's night!

2 Months old and a visit from Aunt Dawn!

Kaylee turned two months old this week. Its hard to believe she has been here that long. Time has flow by so fast. She is growing so fast these days, well beyond what the recommended size is for baby clothes (although not even different brands are the same size when they say 3 months.)

Kaylee was doing real good when we started to lay her down in her crib to sleep a week or two ago but this past week she decided she'd rather sleep all day and keep mom and dad up all night. Its all worth it though :).

Aunt dawn stopped by today to visit while she was in training with her company. Kaylee got to spend a few hours with her although she decided to sleep most of them. It was good to see Dawn

and hopefully we will get to see her again when we go back to Indiana next time :).

Kaylee's first Christmas!

Kaylee had her first Christmas!  She fell asleep on mommy trying to open her presents.  She loves all of them!  I cant wait for her to really start to play with all the toys!  She is getting big on us really fast though.  Tonight I gave her a bath and she enjoyed it this time.  Also we had her playing on her mat and she started talking (jibber jabber)  to us.  Not exactly sure how long she is right now, but our weight scale here says that shes about 9.5 lbs now!  I'm so proud of her!  I'm sure daddy is too!

     A couple of weeks ago Kaylee and I went to see one of my best friends out here.  Her name is Layla and she has 6 kids at home and 7 all together!  Kaylee enjoyed her time meeting Tyler ( the youngest daughter)  She kept staring at her whenever Tyler moved around the room!  The youngest boy (Ethan) was a little scared of her spitting up and when she burped he jumped backwards and just about left the room!  It was a fun time!

Mommy is feeling a lot better now.  The doctor told me that everything has healed nicely, and I dont have to go back until next year!
  
  Kaylee has her 2 month check up and immunizations in a couple of weeks!  Time flies.  

Wow! One month already!!!!!!

Kaylee is getting sooo big!  She has outgrown most of her newborn clothes and into a variety of 0-3 month and 3 month clothing.   It all depends on who makes it I guess.  She has started sleeping in her crib with mommy sleeping in the same room for now.  Last night was really good as she slept most of the night and only woke up twice for feedings!  Still doesnt like the bath that much, and she loves spending time with Bruce and me.
