My first week in this world!
The first week in this world for Kaylee has been a very good one! She passed all her tests and screenings. Thanks to the wonderful world of Skype, Kaylee had the chance to meet some of her cousins, her aunt and uncle (Jen and Tony), and Grandma and Grandpa Thackery! Each time she woke up right after we ended the call. She has been very good with her feedings. I pump every once in a while so daddy can feed her while mommy takes a nap. Her first movie that she "watched" was Shrek, and she really really loves the swing that Aunt Jen and Uncle Tony got her! Time for bed now. Goodnight everyone!

Unexpected C-Section.....
A few weeks before my actual due date (Nov. 19) I started having high blood pressure with every doctor visit. Sent to the hospital for a blood pressure check, then sent home. A week later and I had high proteins as well as high blood pressure. Sent back to the hospital... Sent home with a 24 urine test. Back to the hospital once again to check the results. My proteins were higher and my blood pressure wasn't getting any better. They decided to keep me and induce. They started with this 12 hour medication, that if it didn't work that they would have to put me on pitocin. 12 hours later and nothing happened. 5 am on Saturday they start the pitocin drip to start actual labor. 10:30 am, the doc came in and broke my water. After being checked every 2 hours to see how far along I was, 6pm was here before I knew it. (6pm was the cut off time for labor for me cause of how high my blood pressure was.)
After about 28 hours of labor I was sent in for a C-Section. 10 minutes later we had our wonderful baby girl! Kaylee Anabelle Thackery was born at 8:32 pm on November 13, 2010. Weighing in at 8lbs 6oz and 19.25 inches long!
